Senior Vice President - Industrial
Specializes in industrial brokerage and leasing activities for Carey/Falor
Realty Partners.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Shull has acted as Leasing Director for the
950,000 square foot industrial portfolio in Westbelt Business Park
for its prior owners, Merrill Lynch Hubbard. He also completed the sale for a
180,000 square foot industrial facility in Dayton, Ohio on behalf of
Prudential which he now manages for the private investment group formed for its
acquisition.
Previously, he was Vice President of Asset Management of National
Realty Services (formerly Galbreath-Huff). There he directed the
property management, facilities maintenance and marketing activities of a
4,000,000 square foot portfolio of commercial real estate for such
institutional owners as Prudential Insurance Company, the Equitable, State
teachers Retirement System of Ohio and Cabot Partners. In addition, he acted as
court-appointed receiver on more than 300,000 square feet of industrial and
office properties.
In 1984, he joined John W. Galbreath & Company, where his
project marketing responsibilities included the Capitol Square Complex in
Columbus; DuBois Tower/Fifth Third and Star Bank Centers in Cincinnati; Bank One
Center in Indianapolis and IBM buildings located in Columbus and Dayton.
In total, Mr. Shull has acted as project marketing director, receiver and/or
owner’s representative for more than 3,600,000 square feet of industrial and
office properties. He has completed more than 400 lease transactions totaling in
excess of 2,400,000 square feet and successfully closed more than $15,000,000 of
industrial/commercial brokerage transactions. In 1978, Mr. Shull co-founded and
owned the firm of Morse-Shull & Company in Columbus which
represented Mellon National Bank Corporation, Sun Life of Canada, Metropolitan
Life Insurance Company and the Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Mr. Shull is a 1971 graduate of Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration-Finance. He is a candidate for the CCIM
(Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation with the National
Association of Realtors. He is currently President of the Columbus Commercial,
Industrial & Investment Realtors Association, for which he previously was Vice
President, Secretary and Treasurer and also chaired the Education, Membership
and Governmental Affairs Committee.
